Wrestlemania! And Variance Is A Whore!

The graph was looking really good until that spike down that just happened about 45 mins ago. Coinflips are supposed to 50/50 right? Or did they change it to 99/1 recently and I wasn't informed? That's the way it seems anyway. So fucking sickening. And then I played a tiny bit of 1/2 limit because me and Pete are trying to get the Take 2 bonus and its only for ring games. Only played maybe 20 hands? Lost like $30 on one hand with AA, capped pre flop, flops A diamonds 5 diamonds 9 of spades, we cap the flop (remember this, we capped the flop), turns a K of spades and we cap the turn, rivers the J of spades, we cap the river and he shows Q-7 of spades (we capped the flop remember) so he capped the flop with me with a backdoor flush draw......right....and I'm the one losing money? How is that possible?

Well Wrestlemania was on today and the HBK/Taker match lived up to the hype, it was one of the greatest matches I've ever seen. Pretty good show from start to finish.

APL at Gosford RSL was fun last night, had Jason on my table, he's a guy I used to play a lot of home games with back in the day when I first started playing and I haven't seen him in like 8 months or some absurd amount of time so it was good to catch up with him. I had Shell on my table as well which was a load of fun until she cold decked me, I had QJ diamonds, she had A-6 diamonds, three diamonds on board, I paid her off a tiny bit, if it was 95% of the ppl in APL I might have re-raised on the river with the 2nd nuts (K of diamonds was on board) but she never bluffs and she would usually just call there with a small flush. Me and Shell got moved to a new table, I tried a steal from the cut off with about 4 BB's, she wakes up with Aces on the button and busts me, she had aces the hand before as well haha, then I went home and played some SNG's on Tilt and got the BR over $700 for the first time.....but that didn't last long, it's back down to like $640 right now, I played a lot today and only cashed in one....It's really sick how bad I am running with my coinflips at the moment, I have not won a coinflip since Friday where I have had the two over cards....and no, I am not exaggerating one bit, it is so sick, I actually thought I was going to win one today, I had AK of spades, got it all in pre flop V's pocket 9's on the bubble of an $11 turbo, flop is K34 with two spades, he has two red nines....rivers the 9 of clubs obviously. The one that hurt the most was on the bubble of a 27 man SNG, had KK, 3rd in chips, I raised it on the button and the chipleader in the BB who was a total maniac shoved all in, I called, I am never folding KK with like 4 BBs unless a bunch of extreme shorties were about to eat the blinds but there weren't, he had AK, he rivered an Ace, I wanted to kill something. I am hating life at the moment, the SNG grind is making me depressed, it just seems like

it doesn't matter how good I play, here is the basic blue print of my SNGs, I double up early from some moron, play well, enter the bubble as chipleader....then lose 2 or 3 flips and I bubble, that's pretty much it. I am expecting a run soon where I don't lose a flip but I am losing hope after every SNG I play. The really scare thing is, when I have the two overs vs the small pair, they just flop their set, AK vs 7's, flops 796 and I'm drawing stone dead to a split. I really can't do anything but shake my head in disbelief. When I had the upswing last night, I had to get my money in as a massive favorite for my hand to hold, if it was A-10 vs KQ, or 66 vs AK or AQ v 22, I'd lose, it didn't matter which one I held. I had to have the guy utterly dominated. I ran my AA into KK once (felt good to be on the right side of this for once, so far I've ran KK into AA 11 times, spiked a K once. And I've had AA vs their KK three times and they've spiked the K once, just doesn't seem fair but hopefully it evens out in the long run) I am over this variance thing, it just keeps biting me in the ass, if my super run of winning every coinflip for 2 weeks straight doesn't happen soon, I'm going to be angry. Pete's coming over tomorrow and we are going to get through a shitload of SNGs hopefully on his laptop. He better bring my book "Kill Everyone" by Lee Nelson, I think I need a re-read of it. But him bringing the book tomorrow is about as likely as Shane Neumann winning the Dally M Medal. He is the worst player I have ever seen, Newcastle had the perfect game plan.....run at Shane Neumann! Every time they did they made a break or scored a tried, it was very frustrating to watch, ah well, Manly gets some players back next week verse the Tigers and if we don't win that match.....I will be a bit scared.
